Single mailbox: [email protected]. Editorial questions, game submissions, corrections, press, takedown notices — all land in the same inbox. We try to clear it weekly.
If you made a game
Retrojar is mostly interested in three kinds of submissions:
- Modern indie pixel-art games (platformer, puzzle, action) that play in a browser
- Faithful restorations of arcade or 8-/16-bit classics
- Experimental work that uses pixel-art as a deliberate aesthetic choice
Send the play URL and a short note about what the game is for. If we can't get to it promptly, we'll often park it as a candidate and come back next refresh cycle.
If we got something wrong
Mistakes in our writeups happen. Drop us a line with the page and the correction. We update the piece and keep a changelog at the bottom of any page that's been materially revised.
If you're a rights holder
Retrojar respects copyright. The DMCA notice procedure is laid out in the terms. We typically respond within 48 hours to valid notices.
If you want to advertise
We don't run editorial sponsorships. Display ads are served exclusively through Google AdSense — manage those bids on Google's end. No paid placements, no "featured" sections that aren't editorial.
